about
This one feels special. I can still remember very well the night I wrote this song. It came as one of those very rare ones, when I just grabbed my guitar, sat down at my window and the song was written and done in probably no more than twenty minutes. Framed in tears and the feeling one gets when something truthful was created. It’s a good one - it’s the one I am addicted to.
And as easy as it was to be birthed, as demanding it was to raise - so demanding. What to do with this song that asked for so much?
lyrics
I’m waiting for someone to die
So i have a reason to be upset
I’m drinking myself into the ground
So I have a reason to stay in bed
It’s a wasted life
But I am too tired to change it
Someone tell me how am I
Not too old for this shit
Cause once I was wild and free
And then I threw myself into his arms
Once I think I was free
And then I threw myself into his arms
Into his arms
I’m waiting for him to hold me
Like you did
Someone is better than none
I wont fight it
It’s an easy life
But I am too scared to fail it
Someone tell me who am I
To still try and fake it
Cause once I was wild and free
And then I threw myself into his arms
Once I think I was free
And then I threw myself into his arms
Into his arms
Into his arms
